Rhino .... Frog (2)

Apparently there really is a rhino frog (Limnonectes plicatellus).

But I don't think it looks like this:

Or is it a frog?

Technically, it's a 10 rand note.  Which currently converts at the rate of two frogs and a governor.

Hagfish day

Just quietly,

we love that today It's Hagfish day!

Hanging around

Frog is hanging around with some new friends - Turtle and Pelican.

"I wonder what attracted them", he thinks. 

 "Must be my magnetic personality".

Sugar high

After sampling the not quite set marshmallow with spoons, a couple of under 8s decide to play frog soccer across the kitchen bench.

At 10:00 at night.

The frogs move so fast it's hard to tell whether or not they think this is a good idea.

The results are....

The whipped marshmallow was poured into the greased dish.

However, it looked a bit small and unimpressive.

A second attempt was made - in pink.

This one had lots and lots more whipping and had a promising consistency.

But still not quite right. Not enough gelatine, perhaps?

Sweet toothed frogs just dived on in though.

As did sweet toothed children.

Marshfrogs

Let the marshmallow making begin!

Ingredients are measured.

Both dry and wet.

And measures are checked.

The pan is greased.

And the boiling begins.

And then the whipping.

What will happen next?
