Pour quoi frog?

Why frogs? Well, why not. These frogs are for Darcy, who has been in isolation in The Sydney Children's Hospital. If you want to follow Darcy's progress check out the journal updates here: www.caringbridge.org/visit/darcygilmour10/journal

If you want to make a frog you can find instructions at: http://www.savethefrogs.com/teachers/images/Origami-Jumping-Frog.pdf .

If frogs are beyond you, you can also give blood. Details of how available from the Australian Red Cross Blood Service.

At home with(out) Julia

A cold spring day in Canberra.

Some frogs are just hanging around.
 Or are they?

It seems they are making the froggy equivalent of a queue...

...to spend a day wandering around Julia and Tim's house.

First built in the 1920s (and deliberately built small so as not to look too ostentatious when the rest of the country was suffering through a depression), the Lodge was first occupied by the Bruce family. Classic Australian name. And, interestingly enough, Bruce was the first incumbent Prime Minister to lose his seat at an election; the only other being John Howard in 2007.

Stay tuned....
