Henry the Frog King takes his time choosing his next wife. He is not keen to make another mistake.
He waits at least 16 days before marrying Kathrine Howard - who was not only one of the ladies in waiting of the wife he just divorced but also first cousin of his previous wife Anne Boleyn.
Small world, huh?
This time it is not Henry's roving eye that brings the marriage to an end.
Perhaps it is the 30 year age difference between husband and wife, but within a year Katherine decides that being the richest and most privileged woman in the kingdom is not enough and she wants to have a little extra fun. Maybe she lost her head? Who knows, but by dallying with charming young men she got herself a reputation. And within 18 months she literally lost her head. And was buried near cousin Anne.
Oops.
