Pour quoi frog?

Why frogs? Well, why not. These frogs are for Darcy, who has been in isolation in The Sydney Children's Hospital. If you want to follow Darcy's progress check out the journal updates here: www.caringbridge.org/visit/darcygilmour10/journal

If you want to make a frog you can find instructions at: http://www.savethefrogs.com/teachers/images/Origami-Jumping-Frog.pdf .

If frogs are beyond you, you can also give blood. Details of how available from the Australian Red Cross Blood Service.

Bogblog

In my ongoing search for things froggy I have sometimes uncovered a few odd things.

A foodstuff called "Bog Frog" was a bit of a personal fave.

Not sure that "bog" has quite the same connotations for the international gourmand as it does for a girl who grew up in 1970s Australia.

(Although if it does, then that artwork is just wrong).

So I am pleased to advise that should consumers of cranberry bog frogs want to get a wider sense of the word bog, this blog can help.

Pictures paint a thousand words, don't they?

You start with Frog.

On a roll.

Which becomes Frog....

...on a bog roll.

Bog Frog anyone?
