Pour quoi frog?

Why frogs? Well, why not. These frogs are for Darcy, who has been in isolation in The Sydney Children's Hospital. If you want to follow Darcy's progress check out the journal updates here: www.caringbridge.org/visit/darcygilmour10/journal

If you want to make a frog you can find instructions at: http://www.savethefrogs.com/teachers/images/Origami-Jumping-Frog.pdf .

If frogs are beyond you, you can also give blood. Details of how available from the Australian Red Cross Blood Service.

Musical frogs (part 1)

We all know frogs sing, but it is a little known fact that they are also accomplished keyboard players.

First the Frog Conductor must clear the keyboard of its Guard cat...

...and protective covering.

Then the frogs arrange themselves accross the keys...

...each frog responsible for its own notes....... and whilst some have many to play, others have only one.The flatter and sharper frogs take care of the black keys ....

..all under the watchful eye of....
...the Frog Conductor!

(Musical frogs by Melissa and Portly the Guard Cat)
