Pour quoi frog?

Why frogs? Well, why not. These frogs are for Darcy, who has been in isolation in The Sydney Children's Hospital. If you want to follow Darcy's progress check out the journal updates here: www.caringbridge.org/visit/darcygilmour10/journal

If you want to make a frog you can find instructions at: http://www.savethefrogs.com/teachers/images/Origami-Jumping-Frog.pdf .

If frogs are beyond you, you can also give blood. Details of how available from the Australian Red Cross Blood Service.

A truffle uncool? I think not.

The frog food critics are back.
And they've got one thing on their mind. Or tongues. Or something.
And that's truffles!

Those blogees who live in and around the Canberra region and who frequent the Farmers' Market at EPIC will know that this year has been a fantastic year for the delicacy that is truffle.

And this abundance has meant that it has had a pretty good work out in a range of different culinary treats including:
Scrambled eggs
Pasta
Creme Brulee
Butter
Icecream
Macarons.

The frog food critics have heard that these culinary adventures have been going down and have demanded they be included in the tasting. Reluctantly, the cooks acquiesce.

The frogs get over their chiding and get on with reviewing ...

 the cheese...

...and...

... the chicken.

Happiness abounds!

(PS - this post was written with a mental soundtrack  - Martha and the Muffins of course. Even though truffles are NOT a trifle uncool.)
