Pour quoi frog?

Why frogs? Well, why not. These frogs are for Darcy, who has been in isolation in The Sydney Children's Hospital. If you want to follow Darcy's progress check out the journal updates here: www.caringbridge.org/visit/darcygilmour10/journal

If you want to make a frog you can find instructions at: http://www.savethefrogs.com/teachers/images/Origami-Jumping-Frog.pdf .

If frogs are beyond you, you can also give blood. Details of how available from the Australian Red Cross Blood Service.

All good kings must come to an end

Henry and Katherine Parr lived happily for about 4 years. They had no tadpoles, but they did have pletny of fights.

You're probably wondering how he got rid of her.

Well he didn't.

In 1547, at the age of 55, Frog King Henry died.
He was enormous (more toad than frog by this time) and was unable to walk or hop - he had to be moved around the palace by means of mechanical inventions.

So that brings us to the end of this little historical excursion.

Here's a picture of Frog Henry surrounded by all of his wives.

And we commend to you the traditional verse to help you remember what happened to them all.
Divorced, beheaded, she died,
Divorced, beheaded, survived.

Not quite symmetrical.  But easy to remember.
